Split Oak Wood
Windfallen oak branches.
Stacked between two fallen trunks of what had once been a single tree.
Oak trees, grown from acorns collected nearby will be planted below the tree so that as the stack and tree decay, new oaks will grow.
Thanks to Fife Gibson who helped collect branches, strip them of bark and make the stack. Also, Diego Miró-Rivera.
Thanks to the Capenoch and Buccleuch estates for allowing me to gather branches from their fields and woods.
